Youth Facilitators

Teen Court recruits teens who have successfully completed Teen Court to train as workshops facilitators.  They work with an adult partner to teach educational workshops to referred youth enrolled in Teen Court.  Topics include juvenile law, anger management, goal-setting, and impulse control.  To compensate them for their lived experience, Youth Facilitators receive a stipend for each workshop they co-facilitate.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Refered to Teen Court for an arrestable offense.
  • Successfully completed the consequences assigned by the Teen Court jury.
  • Be enrolled in and attending high school.
  • Successfully completed Youth Facilitator Training.

Youth Facilitator Training tentatively scheduled for Tuesdays and Wednesdays in February 2026. Registration coming soon.
